There are generally 3 reasons why people struggle with their weight, eating behaviours and body image.

This is stress. Food can become self-comfort and you feel better for a while, until food-guilt kicks in, leaving you feeling like a will-power weakling and unhelpful behaviours and habits take hold. Your own body’s physiological response to stress makes it harder to manage your weight and eating behaviours, even if you’re eating the healthiest food.
“I'm not enough” self-talk not only creates stress, but those attacking thoughts sabotage your body image confidence and it becomes your “normal” to not like the way you look.
The key is delving deep to uncover what’s really going on for you, and then finding life strategies that work for you, shifting the focus away from using food to fill an emotional gap or to manage stress, and helping you to break free from body image anxiety and external driven ideals about how you should look.
